Veteran Casual (noun): A style of dress distinct to veterans that often includes a flannel shirt, a large digital watch, functional footware, an old, tattered baseball cap, and very good posture.

This website is a place for veterans to read about the experiences of other veterans as they left the military and found purpose beyond the uniform. These are our stories. How we felt, what we were afraid of, the mistakes we made, and how we ultimately found success.

There is no “right way” to transition from active duty. There is no silver bullet. These are the stories of what worked for others. It may resonate with you, it may not. Either way, we’re glad you’re here.
