Who are we?
Veterans, Family Members, Volunteers, and Professionals
Simply put, everyone that you see on this website is just a person. They either served or lived with someone who served. They found their life beyond the uniform and want to share their story, their keys to success, and the tools that worked best for them. We aren’t experts in writing resumes, networking, or the million other things that you think you need to be perfect at. We’re veterans who felt the very human emotions that you will feel (or have felt) and we want to make sure you know you aren’t the first veteran to ever feel like they might fail in their transition, even though you’re doing all the hard work.

About the authors and contributors who make this site a reality.

Jon is a storyteller and veteran. He served in the Army for about 9 years in Korea, Europe, and the Middle East. He got out of the Army in 2020 for the same reason he joined, it was the right thing for him to do at that point in his life.
He started this website because he wanted to build the one resource that he could never find as he looked for his life beyond the uniform - one that focused on the emotional side of the transition.

Jordan is an expert in marketing (probably the only reason you saw this place) and has been around veterans since she met Jon (and then decided to marry him). She has had a front row seat to what veterans go through as they transition, the struggles of forging a new identity, and understands how to help every veteran find their voice.
